This water tender is designed to carry a
large amount of water to supply the pumper
trucks during fire suppression activities.
This water tender is also used for wildland
firefighting; supplying water to the smaller
trucks in and around the state. The vehicle
can also be used to fight fire independently.
It is designed to carry up to three firefighters
at any given time.

command vehicle and provides transportation
for personnel attending out of district training
and activities.

This four wheel drive vehicle may be used for
almost any task other than fire suppression;
it does not carry water. 1151 is primarily
used for rope rescues.
This utility vehicle is designed to carry up to
four firefighters at any given time, and may
also be used during medical situations when
the pumpers are too big and unable to
access the rough terrain.
Water Rescue Patrol / Fire Boat

Boat – 1 is a 28 ft deck boat that is used for water rescue, dive rescue,
medical aids on and around the water. It is also used for fire suppression.
Boat – 1 carries all the same medical equipment that the pumpers carry as
well as dive gear for up to four firefighter divers. This boat was custom
made by Conquest Boats so that it could be used in a rescue/firefighting
capacity. Buckskin Fire District obtained this vehicle through the State
Lakes Improvement Fund (SLIF) grant program.
This pumper truck is designed to carry up to four firefighters at any given time, and is used for a
variety of tasks ranging from fire suppression and medical aid, to vehicle accidents and rope
rescues.
It is designed to carry a large amount of water to supply the pumper trucks during fire suppression
activities. The water tender can also be used to fight fire or take medical aids by itself making it a
valuable asset to the Buckskin Fire District. This vehicle is designed to carry up to two firefighters at
any given time.
